Energy Development Council organized a workshop “On-Grid solar Project in Nepal-Challenges and Opportunities” on July 15, 2016 . Mr.Surendra Raj Bhandari from Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and Mr.Pushkar Manandhar from Asian Development Bank Nepal Resident Mission (ADB) were the speakers of the event, followed by open discussion.
Main objective of the workshop was to bring all possible stakeholders in one room, discuss the topic jointly and identify potential challenges that might hinder the implementation of on-grid solar projects and provide recommendations to the government for successfully integrating renewable energy into national grid.
