About the program
EDC in support with USAID’s NHDP conducted an interaction program on Draft Electricity Bill 2076 on 26th February 2020 at Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur. Presentations were made on “Key provisions on the latest bill”, “Unlocking the Power of Sun: Current Regulatory Hurdles & Way Forward”, “Market Scenario- Hydro Power Sectors of Nepal” & “Private Sector Paricipation in Transmission Line”. It was followed by an intensive panel discussion on the bill.
